🚨PERFORMER ALERT! We're excited to confirm the Royal Canadian Air Force will perform Search & Rescue demonstrations during each of our performances!
Participating aircraft will include the CH-149 Cormorant from 442 Transport & Rescue Squadron in Comox, BC and the CH-148 Cyclone from 443 Maritime Helicopter Squadron in Patricia Bay, BC. One aircraft will perform the SAR demo each day while the other is available for the public to see up close on static display!

Latest Warbird Addition
- P-47 Thunderbolt
🚨PERFORMER ALERT! We missed #warbirdwednesday, so how about #thunderboltthursday? We've just added the Erickson Aircraft Collection's P-47D Thunderbolt to our warbird lineup for this year's Airshow!

Latest Warbird Addition
- B-25 Mitchell "Grumpy"
🚨 PERFORMER ALERT! This #warbirdwednesday we're feeling grumpy. But that's good news as we can confirm that @HistoricFlight will bring their B-25D Mitchell "Grumpy" to this year's show.
A fan favorite here in Abbotsford, this particular Mitchell has strong Canadian ties, having served as part of the Northwest Air Command responsible for the defense of Western Canada.

NORAD Formation Flight has been added via the app, but the aircraft are unspecified. I just hope that it will not be disappointing like it was in 2018. They didn't even give any fast flybys that year, just really short formation passes and landed. Statics only has a few choppers up via the app.

This would be great news if it comes together, as the fighters are a bit light. Last time it was pretty plain, but I've seen other NORAD flights that were pretty sweet and had lots of burner passes. I'd be hoping for F-15's personally. It's been a long time since we had eagles flying in the show.

Hoping to see some static announcements in the near future! Fingers crossed that the organizers exercise their imaginations after a few years without a static ramp! Countdown is on!

Interested to see how the Friday show shapes up. It doesn’t seem like the NORAD flybys are scheduled for that day and with the lack of Thunderbirds Friday is looking very light on jet noise. Hopefully this isn’t the case. Oh how I miss the early 2000s…

NORAD flyby has been removed from the app yesterday. Come on Abby, at least get the Superhornet, it is basically here every year. For the 60th, they need more. Could they be waiting for International stuff to confirm? Who knows what is happening in the office.

I wouldn't necessarily take this to mean it won't happen but rather that it probably wasn't intended to be seen yet as it hasn't been formally announced....hopefully! Wishful thinking? :)

B-25J Mitchell "WASP" from the Erickson Aircraft Collection will be on static display as part of a STEM zone.

It will be nice to have 2 B-25's on the ground!
