I just hope that it will not be disappointing like it was in 2018. They didn't even give any fast flybys that year, just really short formation passes and landed. Statics only has a few choppers up via the app.

Latest Static Display Addition
- Hamilton H-47 Metalplane [Historic Flight Foundation]
- Hamilton H-47 Metalplane [Historic Flight Foundation]
We have confirmed the Historic Flight Foundation will bring the rare Hamilton H-47 Metalplane for our 2022 Static Display. The H-47 is one of just 29 ever built and the only one that remains in flying condition.
Hamilton has unique ties to aviation in British Columbia. In 1914, Founder Thomas Hamilton - at the age of just 20 - was hired by BC Aviation School Ltd. to build aircraft for Canadians learning to fly for the Great War. It was in Vancouver that Hamilton Aero Manufacturing Ltd. was born.
See this and many other unique aircraft on our Static Display ramp this August! Tickets are available at www.abbotsfordairshow.com

Static Announcements July 15
The C-5M Super Galaxy is the largest aircraft in the U.S. Air Force and currently the largest transport aircraft operating in the world. Nearly the length of a football field, the C-5M can carry a cargo load of more than 140 tons and is crewed by a team of 7 including two pilots, two flight engineers and three loadmasters. This massive aircraft is expected to be attending our event out of Travis Air Force Base in California.
and Warthogs! Be nice to see them in the air
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, more affectionately known as the 'Warthog' because of its good looks, is one of the most effective close-air support aircraft ever built. The Warthog's design allows for maximum maneuverability at low airspeeds and altitudes, allowing it to remain in a conflict area providing support for ground forces. We are expecting a pair of A-10s from Gowen Field Air National Guard Base in Boise, Idaho.

Static Addition
- USAF KC-46 Pegasus
- USAF KC-46 Pegasus
https://www.facebook.com/AbbotsfordAirs ... n__=%2CO*FSTATIC ADDITION! We are excited to add one of the US Air Force's newest aircraft to our static display - the KC-46A Pegasus!
First delivered to the Air Force in 2019, the KC-46A is a next-generation air-to-air refueling platform - capable of refueling most fixed-wing aircraft from both tail-boom and hose-and-drogue systems. The Pegasus can carry more than 212,000-lbs of fuel, and can also be configured for passenger and cargo transportation as well as aeromedical evacuation.
We are expecting the KC-46A to attend this year's event from Pease Air National Guard Base in New Hampshire.
