Andrews and Oceana same weekend again.
I hate driving down to Oceana from Andrews Saturday night.
I have done Andrews on Saturday and Oceana on Sunday several times, but it is very tiring.
Andrews has great statics and Oceana has the "Squadron Mall."

I'm sure it's far-fetched, but I see the Andrew's airshow has a few flyovers of the B1 and B2. I do wonder if there is ANY chance of them taking the short flight down the coast to do a few flyover at Oceana

The Aftershock Jet Truck will now be attending Joint Base Andrews. The Hot Streak II Jet Truck, driven by Hayden Proffitt, will take its place.

They confirmed via Facebook comments and their new profile pic that Beach Blast will be returning Saturday night. I probably won't be there because I'll be driving to Camp Springs, but good to see it return.
Also, supposedly more performers are being added. It looks like one of them will be a Navy warbird, hopefully for an F-18/F-35 Legacy Flight.

The heritage flight has been removed from the lineup as of yesterday. I assume they couldn't find a P-51 with the usual two east coast mustangs flying at Andrews the same weekend.
Speaking of Andrews, I have heard that it is likely that at least one of the bombers that are scheduled for ADW will be making an appearance at Oceana. That was straight from the airshow director when in inquired about it. Pending operational availability of course.
Also, I would expect the F-35C demo that was confirmed via their social media a while back to be added to the website in the near future. I also heard rumors of the E-2 demo team being there as well, which seems likely given the proximity to Norfolk. If we get all that plus what's already confirmed this could be a very strong line-up.
