Bob Grimstead's RF-4D has been withdrawn. However, the Catalina will now fly all three days, rather than on Friday only.

Christophe Simon has self-confirmed his excellent CAP-10C solo display for the Midlands Air Festival for Thursday only, presumably replacing Bob's Fournier as the Catalina was already booked that day. I'm particularly thrilled to see this as I made Christophe's new promo video, sent it to MAF and put them in touch with him a couple of weeks ago, but with the flying display already said to be full, I thought we were too late.

Schedule update for Thursday 2nd June: the Air Festival will now open to the public 90 minutes earlier than planned at 11:30. This is to accomodate the extended flying display, which will now run from 14:50-18:45 rather than 18:00-19:00.

Schedule update for Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July. Previously on both days the flying display had been due to run for 5 hours, between 13:00 and 18:00. It will now run in two sections and is by some margin the longest flying display I've come across at a comparably-sized airshow, running for at least 6 hours per day. It'll be good to have a break in the middle of that!

FRIDAY:
12:00-15:00
15:45-19:00
(Total 6hrs15min)

SATURDAY
11:45-15:00
15:45-18:30
(Total 6hrs)

Makes me wonder if there's a surprise in store for Friday to account for the extra 15 minutes?
