The theme will be the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Thunder Over Michigan.

And the Theme Aircraft the P-51 Mustang, particularly the 357th Fighter Group.

This is to help commemorate the very first Yankee Air Museum flying event…25 years ago, which featured P-51s as the theme. This event would evolve into the show we have today!

Air Heritage's C-123K Provider "Thunder Pig” has just been added. The C-123 was featured a few times over the years at both Air Display and Thunder.

Moved to de-conflict with the FireKeepers 400 NASCAR Race at Michigan International Speedway that weekend. A lot of the teams utilize the airport for corporate aircraft.

the C-54D Skymaster "Spirit of Freedom" from Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation (BAHF) will be at this year's event.

The OG Spirit of Freedom participated in many early Air Displays and Thunder Over Michigan events at Willow Run. This common sight makes it a perfect fit for the 25th Anniversary event.
