Same. There have been a lot of fun events at Elkhart over the years. I miss the airshow and the warbird weekend a lot.

I remember a Salute to Veterans event about 7 or 8 years ago that featured a WWII re-enactment and a bunch of local warbirds. I wonder if this will be a similar format. A little annoying that it's the same weekend as the TBM Reunion, but maybe there will be an opportunity to attend both.

I’m excited to see how the lineup turns out for this! I grew up in SW Michigan and we went to the Elkhart air show several times when I was a kid in the early-mid 90s.

I don’t remember a lot from those days but I do remember B-2 and F-117 flybys, a Harrier demo, and seeing the A-10 for the first time. And walking through a B-17 and a Constellation. Those memories from Elkhart are part of what inspired me to start going to air shows again a few years ago.

Some new information posted on this! It actually sounds good enough that I'm planning to do the TBM Reunion Friday/Saturday and then go to this on Sunday. Three aerobatic acts, two parachute teams, P-51s, Corsairs and T-6s, plus Bearcat and Skyraider on Sunday only (I'm assuming those two are coming from Peru). Here's the website with more info:

Should also add that the C-53 "Beach City Baby" self-confirmed on Facebook a while back. Not sure if there will be any other DC-3/C-47/C-53 types for Round Canopy to jump from.

looks like a busy weekend for me with Peru Friday and Saturday then Sunday here......glad to see a local show come back especially with Goshen gone this year

I've seen this graphic floating around that shows Gunfighter, Charlotte's Chariot and Moonbeam, plus the WHF Corsair and F4U-5 WR-5. This could just be a generic graphic and I don't have confirmation that these are indeed the aircraft attending though, so take it with a grain of salt.
