72 years ago today marked the beginning of the Berlin Airlift.
#OTD in 1948, the Berlin Airlift began, two days after the Soviet Union blockaded West Berlin. Check out Commemorative Air Force That's All, Brother's post for some of the impressive figures from the effort. Do you remember when there were two Berlins and two Germanies? It's been 30 years since reunification, you know.
