Pakistan Air Force Gets New Squadron

On 14 March 2020, the Pakistan Fiza'ya (Pakistan Air Force) disclosed that their CN235Ms are now operated by the newly erected 52 Squadron 'Markhors'. The CN235Ms used to be operated by 6 Air Transport Squadron 'Antelopes' at Nur Khan/Islamabad Intl.
According to the provided photo, the new squadron is also based at Nur Khan/Islamabad Intl. The reason for the split in the Antelopes Squadron between the CN235M and the Hercules transport aircraft is not known yet, but most probably is related to dedicated attention to the aircraft in the inventory of the unit including its missions.
