Our dear follower Chris Roche visited the Thirlmere, Lake District (UK), while the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and US Air Force were doing some serious low-flying.

What a great timing it was for Chris on 17 October 2020: a US Air Force CV-22B Osprey of the 7th Special Operations Squadron came by, as well as a Royal Air Force Texan T1 of 72sq. He also caught a Hawk T1A of the Royal Navy's 736NAS, which returned from Joint Warrior 2020.

To catch these Chris used a Sony Alpha 9 with a 200-600mm lens. He needed near-full zoom.
