Aircraft #8 in 12 Planes of Christmas is this PT-17 Stearman assigned to the Dallas/Fort Worth Wing. It was discovered that this aircraft was once used to train America’s first female military pilots, known as the WASP. The aircraft has been in restoration and part of that project will be to restore the livery of when she flew the WASP at Avenger Field.
