The Old Aeroplane Company Tyabb, Victoria, Australia

Hello all,

Decided to start a topic on Old Aeroplane Company Tyabb. It's a beautiful small museum situated on the corner of the Tyabb airport. It's owned by a lovely Judy Pay, an aircraft enthusiast. I visited about 4-5 months ago and loved every minute. When I visited with my dad, we were lucky enough to be invited to watch them start up a Winjeel and test oil pressures at different RPM's (I've an awful feeling I'm very wrong, but it was cool to watch regardless). I couldn't record a lot due to running low on battery, but I still got some decent footage. I'm also sorry that I don't have a very steady hand

I also got a few decent photos too, I'm not that big of a photo person but got a few highlights :)

This is a P-51 Mustang that they were doing maintenance to at the time

This is a P-40F Kittyhawk (Yep, the F, not the E), scavenged from a jungle and heavily damaged, which was restored to an almost photo-realistic version of what flew at the time, resting in the showroom.

And this is a de Havilland Vampire in the showroom. Apologies for the second photo being somewhat blurry.

So has anyone else visited, or even grabbed some awesome photos/videos? Share them below :D
