A fantastic creation demonstrated at Old Warden Aerodrome at the ModelAir event and in the hands of this experienced pilot it really was a joy to capture it flying in the warm breeze.

Richard the owner and pilot shared that this is a model of 1934 Weir - W2 at roughly 1:6 scale. The full size aircraft is at the National Museum of Flight in Scotland.

A night flight of Jurgen's amazing F4U Corsair. At 3.1 metres wingspan how did he manage to keep it to only 4 KG with it's wing folding mechanism and twist and turn retractable landing gear ?! Amazing building and flying skills demonstrated here...

One of the most ingenious things I have ever filmed.

Super little "almost ready to fly" warbird in this size just like it's predecessors in this 750mm series from HobbyKing. Assembly takes minutes and flies like a much larger model due to the clever ORX gyro stabiliser.

Second flight. It likes a bit of low inverted this thing...

In storage for 15 -20 years so a few things needed replacing and updating but it's ready to go for it's re-maiden...as is the Concorde in the background.

We got our hands on the new Bell UH-1 'Huey' from Fly Wing. Relatively short video showing the unboxing through assembly to it's first flight with tips along the way.

71 cm from front tip of main rotor to tip of rear tail rotor
25 cm from bottom of skid to top of main rotor
80cm main rotor diameter
Take off weight of 1.35KG
Features one key return to home and GPS based fixed-point hovering
Four blade rotor head
Custom carbon fibre blades
High speed brushless tail rotor
Simulated rivets, windows, vents etc
Flight time of 20 minutes
Almost read to fly version with 10 channel transmitter, 4S5000 mah flight battery and charger included

So relaxing to fly like this...except for the landing. Yet to master that but getting there.

Always some degree of stress flying most RCs but this Night Vapor just let's you unwind after a hard day in the office. Perfect for zero to light winds and so controllable can operate in a very small space.

Anyone who has tried it knows flying in formation is far from easy. These guys have been doing it a while with their large scratch built scale warbirds. Always a highlight of any RC show here in the UK.
