Is anyone photographing the Friday practice show? I'll probably try to hang out at the Heritage Park, but just wondering if anyone else is going to be doing any shooting from other locations I haven't thought of.

So, how is this Heritage Park location? Is it a good spot for pictures, or just a good spot to watch? Also, I don't see it listed on the statics, however, I see an A400M on the static map...anyone know anything abut this? Thanks in advance.

First year I went to Scott I believe that where I shot from....just kind of wandered around then. Got some solid stuff.

OK after checking a map,I actually shot from sort of near the baseball diamonds on the base.

Scott AFB actually has one of the better static displays I've seen in a while (being Midwest without a lot of AFB bases around).

Yes, by the looks of that, I would agree! Glad to see the A400 is on your list, and the 2 x F-15SE are a welcome surprise! I'm hitting the road about 4:00 a.m. to be there when the gates open tomorrow.

So got home a little bit ago.....edited a couple pics. Great time overall! Quite warm, but the wind kept it livable. Super busy so good for the show and surrounding areas I'd guess. Always fun to hang out with some of the usuals and meet a couple new faces! hoping they'll show up on here at some point.
So after you been shooting for a while you just swing for the fences. 1/50th. Got a couple that were ok.
