Findlay Air Expo

This was a fun little event this past Saturday that a friend tipped me off on the day before. A nice, small gathering of local warbirds for a display at the airport in Findlay, Ohio. Tri-State Warbird Museum's P-51 flew three times in the four hours I was there, and also got to see one ride flight each by the B-25 and C-47, several flights by the T-6 and a wing fold demo by the TBM. Also got a fly-by from two Ohio ANG F-16s from Toledo Express.

There were a total of eight warbirds on display and some local displays by local museums, a R/C club, Air National Guard, Marines and Bowling Green's flight school. Not spectacular by any means, but nice to support a small, local event and a good day of warbirds. My understanding is this is a biannual event. Hopefully, the event can continue to grow - sounds like this year's was much larger than the last one.
