So was the 262 a few years back.
Collings cancels A LOT
Regarding the F-4, the airplane was ready to go to Selfridge. She flew 5 flights in a week and a half before the show, including 2 on the day before departure to Michigan. It wasn't until she was in the chocks after the second flight that we discovered a problem, and this particular issue gave us no safe amount of time to troubleshoot before sending it 1200 miles from home. We had every intention of making the Selfridge show and we were extremely disappointed to cancel, but any airplane can break at any time. The F-4 isn't the first airplane to have to cancel an airshow appearance, and won't be the last. She will be ready for Wings Over Houston in October.

I was on the fence about this one but the last aircraft update, along with the addition of the P-40B have tipped me into going. The chance of seeing an early-model P-40 is worth it. More P-51s, the A-26 and the return of the Skyraider to the lineup helps fill out the lineup a little better too. The paratroop drops don't do much for me, but it will be cool to see the C-46 and C-47s flying around.

Those look like existing aircraft that were going to be there anyway but I do see that they have added 2 X A-10 's from Selfridge for flying display

I was out at Willow Run for the Blue's afternoon practice on Thursday. I won't be making it to the show tomorrow, but later in the weekend it's on the schedule!
