Collings Foundation @ KFNL Colorado July 15, 2017

I sure appreciate that Ryan has given us a place to share our pictures.
The Collings Foundation came to Fort Collins/Loveland Colorado Airport in July.
I made a point of arriving late on the first day and met the event organizer who allowed me a free hand on the ramp for pictures after the gates had closed and the folks went home.
A rare treat...great light and no people

The next morning I arrived at 0545 hrs, asked and received an escort and was on the ramp at 0600.
I had the place for a half hour before two other photographer friends joined me.
We had the ramp to ourselves for the rest of the morning...
Except for the paying passengers, flight crews and staff. Hubba!

And I appreciate you sharing with us! Fantastic! Opportunities like that don't come around often. A couple years back I was allowed on the ramp in Madison when the warbirds were there, I stayed until 2am shooting more and more photos. You never know when you'll get another chance!
