As mentioned earlier in this thread, Ryan and I were lucky enough to check out the departures on Monday following AirVenture. We saw some of the remaining military aircraft depart the airport. The F-16, Chinook, Blues, F-35s, B-52 and B-1 are some of the aircraft that departed on Monday.

The B-1, was the last one to leave. It took a while, but it was worth the wait! Thanks to @RyanS for letting me tag along....and driving me to the airport!

Is this a misfire...if there is such a thing?

Nope, we were actually talking about that possibly happening before their break. By lighting just the one afterburner, he kept the smoke visible (on the other nozzle). It also generates a yaw that helps keep the nose up in the turn.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has a decent photo of the GB1 Gamebird flying that I could borrow for a video thumbnail. I don't seem to have any photos of it myself!
