Sure it's a demo team and they go all over the country, but the chances of 122 showing up in the west is much higher than 106 making the trek over.
But I believe the USN F-35C demo will be based out of Lemoore so that'll be good for the west coasters.

Accurate. At the convention, we were told that the F-35 would be out of Lemoore. It's not a full on demo but is more than just Legacy Flights. 122 will do the Legacy's and 106 will do them in addition to their demos. There was no indication at how many Super Hornet demos there would be.

The team posted this as a teaser for an upcoming video message. Could it be a schedule announcement this early?

Air show fans, can you guess what the next video will be about?

I'm going to assume that what we'll see from the F-35C at airshows will be something like the display the F-35C put on at NAS Pensacola this past November.

While that'd be great, the USN demo teams usually take quite a while to announce.
On the plus side, this year they do seem like they'll announce something in the not too distant future which is pretty early for them.

I wasn't necessarily holding my breath for a schedule announcement, but they never ended up posting anything related to the teaser video yesterday :|

Aircraft in the Legacy Flight program this year are the F-35C, F-18, EA-18, and T-6 Texan II. The T-45s won't be doing it which is too bad because they have some cool paint schemes and rarely make it to shows I'm at. However, I'm very happy that they're continuing to involve other units in the Legacy Flight to spread the load but also get some variety out there. The Growler absolutely tore it up last year so very eager to see what we get this time around.
