The A-10 demo team just posted some photos on Facebook of them shooting flares during practice. The F-16 team was going to use them last year and the F-35 team was practicing with them earlier this year. Demos may get a bit more exciting in 2020!!

You can add Columbus AFB, MS to the schedule as the Wings Over Columbus organizers confirmed on their Facebook page that the A-10 Demo Team will be in attendance for the April 25th-26th airshow.
We are excited to share the news that Wings Over Columbus 2020 was recently added to the A-10 Demo Team's 2020 Calendar!

It appears that Major Cody "ShIV" Wilton will be back as demo pilot for 2020. I could be wrong but all things indicate that he'll be the demo pilot for the third year in a row.

Technically 4th year, he was the A-10 West Heritage Flight pilot for 2017.

This was discussed at length at ICAS (even before the ACC Forum). Usually both the outgoing and incoming demo pilots attend the convention. With “Loco” and “Dojo” leaving the F-22 and F-35 this year, and with them wanting to schedule their duty rotation, they didn’t want to get stuck on having to replace three demo commanders/pilots every two years. So, they extended “ShIV” into 2020, so the rotations will now be F-16/A-10 and F-35/F-22

Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the info.
