Wings Over Warren 2020 is now a drive-in event. There will be limited capacity and one way to get into the airshow. On base volunteers will guide patrons to their parking spot and are expected to either stay in their cars or set up chairs outside their vehicle.

USAF Thunderbirds won't be performing at Wings Over Warren.

Yikes, guess that rules it out for me. Hopefully it doesn't go on to spread through the team!

Outcome would be disastrous for 2020 show season, but its most likely 2020 season is off for almost 90% of the 2020 shows, and concerns are now rising though December 2020. I still have some hope for 2021. Prayers for a speedy recover for U.S Air Force Thunderbird member.

So after losing the Thunderbirds, the show was able to add the A-10 demo team and a KC-46 Pegasus flyover. They also posted this detailed schedule

The show website is a bit outdated; the best reference is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/5113398 ... discussion

Further info I've been asked to share:
The folks at David Schultz Airshows are working the show at FE Warren and will be updating their Facebook event page as more news comes out. They are working with the FE Warren AFB Public Affairs to push the most complete and accurate information out to the public as soon as possible.

It should also be noted that the Cheyenne event has NEVER had the F-22, A-10, nor F-35 ever perform there so the airshow will be very unique by all of the demos that will be there. It's a morning show too so we are doing it before the heat hits in the afternoon!
The point about the heat is a good one. With it being drive-in and no statics, there is significant incentive to just get on with it. You can get an airshow's worth of jet noise and be home for lunch!

Hope attendees will post some good information on how this "drive-in" show goes today.

"Drive-in" format is completely new. This format may be used for the NY Show, so I am very interested.

The line-up is very good, so attendees will be treated to some good flying.

Were attendees really forced to stay with their cars?

Could you walk around the grounds?

Could you walk up to the show line? Was there a show line?

Could you see the jets take-off?

Did the Demo Teams set-up their tents to sell their squadron items (swag)? (Love to buy items)

How were concession stands (if there were any)?

Have fun guys and post some good info.
