The 127th facebook page announced that next year's dates are July 9-10.

Heads up Michigan! The U.S. Thunderbirds are up to something this afternoon at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The next open house and air show for Selfridge Air National Guard Base is scheduled for July 9 & 10, 2022. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Phillip Ulmer)

I'm glad this is no longer on the weekend before Oshkosh. That was either going to make for tough choices or a lot of extra driving. I'm also hoping it isn't back-to-back weekends with Thunder.

Back to back sucks, not as bad as same weekend though.
Battle Creek is also hosting the Birds July 2-3, busy month in MI.

I was thinking of July 23-24 as the weekend before Oshkosh since Oshkosh starts on a Monday. At any rate, I no longer have to think about whether to drive east before heading to Oshkosh that weekend, making it more likely that I can attend both. Hopefully it will work out.

Looking around for more info and came across this. June 2022? Now I'm confused.

I would guess that is a mistake, given June 9-10 is a Thursday/Friday

Yeah, typo. Show was originally going to be later in July but dates were moved up to July 9th and 10th to accommodate a few acts.

Sounds like the theme for the airshow is 75th Anniversary of the USAF.
