Also the dark blue Bearcat that is usually at osh has arrived plus the blue angels Bearcat. So there’s gonna be 3 bearcats at Oshkosh this year. The T-2 Buckeye from Warbird heritage foundation has also arrived. Naval aviation coming up huge this year.

This is a RUMOR… and strictly a RUMOR… but the Blue Angels are ALLEGEDLY swinging by OSH. Seems feasible considering they’re at a show in MKE this weekend. If the rumor is true, I’d imagine they’d buzz by sometime after their show on their way out either late Sunday or Monday.

Hey everyone,

That's the plan!

My Milwaukee show plans yesterday got squashed because of my flight to MKE got cancelled. Had to re-route to ORD and bus it to Milwaukee. Also my luggage is lost lol.

But today is a new day! Heading to Osh today!

If you're on the grounds, go to the Homebuilts HQ. Normally by noon each day they have the specific airshow schedule posted there.

start by saying that airventure/oshkosh is the greatest airshow ever and I enjoy going every year. I am curious though as to why they announce things like "year of the fighter" or "airforce announced full participation". I feel like these types of statements cause an expectation for certain things that don't happen. unless I'm missing something dayton has more airforce participation than airventure; plus there's so many other things they could focus on especially with the shear number of aircraft consistently there. like I don't care if no airforce participation but unfulfilled expectations. I look forward to another great week starting tomorrow!

Yeah - like how EAA touted the very rare F-100 for months only for it to be cancelled last week for some reason. Dayton will have F-15 flybys and you would think EAA has enough clout to ask them to come up and flyby being the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the AF. The F-15 and 16 will be a static participant and static has its place, but people come to get wowed by flying rather.

They had planned to have more USAF participation and had some cool stuff in the works. However, due to current global situations these plans fell through

Can anyone give more insight on what this is supposed to be? My guess is that it might be related to Jared Isaacman and the privately-owned 1989 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29UB Fulcrum (N29UB) that he owns.
