The Blue Angels will not be coming to OSH after leaving MKE. They left last night and I saw a video of them in the PUB from a local that posted on Facebook. Only thing I did notice is that only 5 jets made it home last night. So I think one is broke in MKE currently. So unless that Jet doesn’t stop by after it’s fixed they will not be making an appearance.GTBaker wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 12:27 amI saw that Fat Albert left MKE already heading south but have the Blues' jets left? If not, I've got a fiver saying they make a pass or two at OSH before heading out. Any takers?Nate_Burrows wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 11:43 pmDidn’t happen just another rumor. One thing about Oshkosh, never believe the rumors you hear from certain photographers who come here and start up rumors.burnersreadynow wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 7:47 pm This is a RUMOR… and strictly a RUMOR… but the Blue Angels are ALLEGEDLY swinging by OSH. Seems feasible considering they’re at a show in MKE this weekend. If the rumor is true, I’d imagine they’d buzz by sometime after their show on their way out either late Sunday or Monday.

https://www.facebook.com/EAA/posts/pfbi ... CO%2CP-y-RThe Experimental Aircraft Association was extremely saddened to learn of the passing of longtime EAA president Tom Poberezny on Monday morning, July 25, after a brief illness.
Tom was EAA president from 1989-2010, succeeding his father, EAA founder Paul Poberezny.
“It is not lost on us that Tom’s passing occurred on the opening day of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the event he led into world prominence as its chairman beginning in the 1970s,” said Jack J. Pelton, EAA CEO and Chairman of the Board. “Tom’s legacy is tremendous in the world of aviation with his personal achievements as well as the growth of EAA, especially the development of the current EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, the Young Eagles program, and the creation of Sport Pilot nearly 20 years ago. He will be greatly missed but more importantly, he will be remembered for all that he did for EAA and aviation.”
“Our sincere thoughts and prayers go to Tom’s wife, Sharon, and his daughter, Lesley, and the rest of the Poberezny family.”
Memorial services are still being determined at this time. More information will be announced as it is finalized.

Does anyone know why the gates are locked near Basler? We've been going through them since they were installed and sitting out there long before they were there, near the general plane parking, for the air shows. Or is there another way to get in? It's not "on the grounds".

was watching the show on the live stream and noticed Aeroshell #4 was kind of far back and then didn't continue the rest of their performance. Anyone know if he had a mechanical issue of some sort?
