A B-52 demonstration team? Never heard of it.This lineup looks like an airshow organizers dream list.

They're not official. I just happened to see a B-52 pilot with a patch that said "B-52 Demo Team" in 2021. This event, when it ran from 1995-2007 in Fort Lauderdale beach always had a great lineup so it goes without saying that for those like myself were spoiled rotten. That's why, at least in my opinion, it's the Super Bowl of Air Shows.

I was at the Fort Lauderdale shows in the 2000s and let me tell you they were the best weekend beach airshows I'd ever attended.

It only does flybys. When I saw it in 2021 and 2022, it did a stage entry, bomb run, gear down pass and high speed pass. Last year it flew after the national anthem and then returning for its performance. The Fort Lauderdale years was the best 10 years I could ask for. A bit of good news for those who were in attendance last year. As you may be aware they had the Army SaluteFest which disrupted the flying. This year they won't have it. This year's event will run from 12-5:30pm with the Music Explosion occurring from 6:30-9:30pm.

I'm excited about the F-35 bundle BOGO, but I hope there is more being added to this line-up. It's a little lite on the pointy stuff and the bombers/heavys sometimes only show one day or not at all.....
