It could be because of the F22s that are coming.(Have they arrived yet?) But I know Langley has had A LOT of construction going on near the flight line for about the past year and I don't think it has to anything to do with the new arrivals.

F-18 Rhino demo team added according to the website. Interesting as this would most certainly be the Oceana boys, but they have yet to practice this year and still do not have a schedule posted. That said, the show is still 6 weeks away and if they are adding it to the website at this point you would think that is certainly a good sign.

PS- Class of 45 added as well. Looking like a really solid mix of civilian and military this year. Langley rarely disappoints.

Hope the flight line construction does not affect the crowd line for the show.

I had a feeling they were going to perform, that is for sure some nice jet noise. I'll get to see the 35 and 18 the next weekend when they come to Barnes for there show with the F-15's.

It looks like the construction is for the F-22 training that the 71st Fighter Squadron will do.

71st FS received their first F-22's.

I got parking for Sat and Sun.

How do you know if you got Base or Off-Base parking?

Will you get that info later?

The parking people replied to my email.

They said

"The lots on the base will be utilized first. Once a lot is full, cars will be directed to the next, so on and so forth."

So, everyone will head to the base and then either be allowed in if there are spaces or directed to the other 2 places.

Early in the morning, the Base will fill-up, so that will be OK.

Later on cars will head to the base and be directed to the other 2 places. Hopefully they will use Facebook to indicate when the Base fills up.

The key is to arrive early.

Any idea as to when they will list some of the statics that will be onhand. I see some displays but no aircraft listed yet.
