One other thing I forgot to mention is the Full Throttle Formation Team only had 10 aircraft today. I say "only 10" as if that isn't impressive enough.

Anyway, first video is up. First full East Coast Rhino Demo Team performance of the year 8-)

Had a fun day today at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The entire show from start to finish was fantastic, and you could not have asked for a beautiful day for an airshow. Going to go through my videos throughout the remainder of this weekend, so stay tuned. Here's a couple of shots I took of the static displays.

Did Full Throttle perform their standard routine or the dynamic maneuvering (with a couple opposing passes and a formation break)?

I was not really watching them at the time but I think it was a normal formation routine.

I guess the dynamic routine? That's what I'm used to seeing. 5 formation passes from left to right, then they break and fly in a circle. Nothing opposing. Some of the formations look weird with only 10. See the attached screen caps from my videos.

Oh ok. That's just the standard routine. Wasn't sure if they had gotten approval for the dynamic maneuvering one yet but I guess not. The DMR is MUCH more exciting. Hopefully they'll get the waiver to fly it by the end of the season.

Saturday was such a great day couldn't have asked for a better one. All my pictures can be found here: https://www.shawnharrisondesigns.com/Ai ... oads-2023/

I been trying to get this picture with the visible shockwave building up for some time and finally got it.

Really enjoyed the show on Saturday. We arrived as the gates opened and had a much easier time getting in than I had anticipated.
The weather was perfect. The show was well paced and very entertaining. Bravo to everyone that had a hand in planning and executing this show. I hope they do it again in a couple of years.
