On May 12, 2023, a Yakovlev Yak-3M Full Noise #35 (ZK-VVS) owned by Fighter Flights Ltd, failed to takeoff from Omaka Aerodrome (NZOM) and went off the end of the runway, across the road, and landed in a fence. The pilot Graeme Frew was not injured and the aircraft received substantial damage.
