I saw a post somewhere that the B-52 is no longer on static. Don't know what the official word is.

Raptor demo is talking about a possible Sunday evening arrival, but TBD

The B-52 being removed is not a surprise as the last time it came they had to remove all of the runway lights so that it could land due to its wide wingspan.

That stinks about the B-52. Hopefully, they can do a flyby during an airshow during the week.

Does anyone have any information on if there will be a live stream of the shows each day this year and if so, what site will they be on? If I remember correctly last year, it was on YouTube and didn't have the night shows.

I'm guessing the links will be on the Airventure site under the "EAA Llive" section with webcams.

I don't think it's official but there's a chance it won't go

The word I heard from someone helping set up, is that it will no longer be on static but will make an appearance during the Saturday airshow. Not sure if that's day or night.

It didn't help that a B-52 doing a Demo of the crosswind crabbing system on the gear at RIAT Airshow in the UK took out 18 lights on the edge of the runway with its outrigger wheel. It was taxing in while crabbing at about a 30 degree down the runway showing off. I did see a spread sheet that listed Sunday arrivals as C-17,B-52,Super Guppy ,Dreamlifter 747,V-22 Tue F-35A ?, Mig-23, Thurs C-5,B-29,AC-130. U-2 Flyby Mon and Thurs, Mig 29 Tue, VC-121 Mon arrival Fri demo, Corsair Flights Thurs, Vietnam Fri ? The spreadsheet is from last month so somethings have changed but they always do. B-52 may just do some low passes now but I don't know for sure. It was rumored there was a Mig-21 thinking about coming and Randy Ball Mig 17 is on the way so maybe a Mig 17,21,23,29 demo on Tues. Watch the radar and listen to the scanner but mostly don't take your eye off the sky !
