Hi Everyone,

Looking forward to this Huntington Beach Air Show!!!

What time should I be at the gate for general admission seating to get a good spot? I'm typically an early riser to Air Shows.

Any suggestions on where to park in the surrounding areas?

Thank you for any help.

Parking is very difficult at this airshow, most of the free parking at the beach fills up instantly, there are good paid parking spaces, BUT the price increases every half an hour, so if you have to get a paid space, its best to do it ASAP, in 2021 me and my friend got there before the show started (but after gates opened) and ran into these difficulties, best to get there as soon as the gates open, maybe even earlier!

FYSA:

viewtopic.php?t=7723&sid=fc9fc7c90fbe7b ... c21e7f9a2a

From ICAS:
The U.S. Department of Defense has given informal, preparatory direction to its personnel that – if a budget is not approved by midnight on Saturday – participating aircraft and personnel will not be permitted to perform/appear at shows on Sunday, October 1. Most will be directed to return to their bases on Sunday morning, before air show audiences arrive at the show site. If a budget is subsequently approved by Congress, military performers will be permitted to immediately resume their air show activities.
Read into this what you will. I trust the source.

So there's a possibility we will not have a Huntington Beach Air Show this coming weekend?
Then, I better catch Friday's practice.

I'd expect Saturday will happen either way (for all shows this weekend) based on the ICAS note. Military participation on Sunday is in question.
