Raptors will arrive around 1700 today. Landing and staging out of Oceana
Will you be popping some flares at the show?
I'm sure rules and regulations for airshows has changed over the years but I want to say the F14 did it back in the day at Oceana.
I was a little surprised we didn't get any at Langley earlier this year.

I think Capt. Razz popped flares at a show in South Carolina few months ago.

Yes, the F-14 Demo used to shoot flares back in the good old days at Oceana!
And the Beach Blast used to truly be a BLAST with EIGHT Tomcat Burner passes with flares too!!
I'll never forget being out on the Fishing Pier back in '99 for this wild show! >>>>
FYI, I heard a JZ "Bayou Militia" F-15 Eagle arrived at Oceana for static display also, and that
RaZZ was buzzing the beach just before sunset and then landed the Raptor at Oceana too!

We were at the officers club and heard one or two Raptors make several LOUD passes around Oceana at roughly 7pm! Saw one of them in the break with burners too. Not sure about the F-15 unless he was the one beating up the field around 7pm. Also an E-2D came in shortly after the Blues. Not sure if hes a static or demo since on the wednesday air power practice had an E-2D involved. No E-2 in the thursday practice or yesterdays show
