Bob Carlton's FoxJet Sailplane

Post by n33d4sp33d_85 » Sun Sep 24, 2023 11:05 pm

Meet Bob Carlton's new jet-powered sailplane which he plans to fly starting next year.
The FoxJet sailplane. Featuring TWO jet engines, the FoxJet sailplane rips to altitude and performs a classic sailplane aerial ballet and has even more aerobatic capability for screamin' low-level jet aerobatics. No scheduling conflicts and valuable airshow time wasted as the FoxJet hammers to altitude. Tow plane? We don't need no stinkin' tow plane.

Powered by two PBS TJ-100 jet engines, the two seat FoxJet sailplane is the only sailplane on the airshow circuit capable of carrying two people and performing a low-level, jet-powered airshow performance. Utilizing its powerful jet engines, the FoxJet roars through a high-speed aerobatic climb, followed by a spectacular exhibition of graceful sailplane aerobatics, choreographed to classical music, and featuring the world-famous Vertigo Airshows wingtip smoke. When the original altitude is spent, most sailplanes must land.

But not this sailplane! By simply spooling up the jet engines, the graceful sailplane is quickly transformed into a true low-level aerobatics monster. Accompanied by an ever-quickening musical score and even more smoke, the FoxJet cavorts at ground level with loops, rolls, hammerheads, spins and vertical penetration never before dreamed of by a sailplane.
