Planning to make it to Aviation Nation again, the 2022 show was amazing.

Aviation Nation is always an excellent show, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm curious how different the lighting and feeling of everything will be in April instead of November

I'm wondering that too...and April weather is always unpredictable. November weather is usually nice. I've been going to Aviation Nation since I can remember.

I remember going to the USAF 50th Anniversary show in 1997 which was held at a similar time, though near the end of April. It was warm and sunny both days (low to mid 80s if I recall). Not being a local, I can't comment on the reliability of the weather during either timeframe but it was much warmer in April of 1997 than either of my recent experiences with the November dates (2017 and 2022). I also see that the sun sets much later in April than November so that leads to the possibility of a longer show or at least not needing to start the show so early. In 2007, the F-117 wrapped up the show at 4:30 (assuming my time stamp is correct) and, with the help of a cloud layer, it was getting dark. In April there would still be 2 1/2 hours of light.
