Based on previous years it will likely just be some of the highlights including any confirmed demos teams, civilian performers, and the warbirds. The full schedule including all the flyovers is typically only provided a few days before the show. Guess we will find out shortly though.

And... I was wrong. Looks like they released essentially the full line-up today, which they haven't done this early on prior years. Interestingly enough some of the civilian performers booked per their schedules are not included. There are also several military demo teams listed that have not released full schedules yet- Growler, F-35C, C-17, etc.. Still if anywhere close to this military lineup shows up this might be the most stacked in many years..

Yet again, Louisville has one of the best lineups in the entire country when it comes to military participation. Obviously the standard rules apply regarding if things actually show, but the past two years have been impressively good in keeping the initial and final lineups fairly consistent. Not too many shows can advertise all five flying branches of the US military.

Personally, I'm most excited for the B-1, B-52, and A-400M. I'd also love for UPS to bring out an MD-11, since that's the only type in their fleet I don't have good photos of, and if the MH-53E demo is anything like the 2022 one, that's set to be spectacular.

I didn't think they'd top last year, but if this line-up shows, they will. Wow!

U.S. Navy F-35C demo team also added per press release, before the list in the news article is shown:

"Organizers also released the air show lineup Wednesday morning. It will include the B-52 Bomber, Swamp Fox — an aircraft with Kentucky roots — demos from the U.S. Navy's F-35 team..."

Interestingly enough, the local news press release I referenced from WDRB is the only publication with the full performer list and is also the only I have seen mentioning the F-35C. Maybe they got their hands on it and leaked it pre maturely.

The official Thunder website only calls out the following information to date- "The Festival is also planning another packed air show line-up this year featuring both military and civilian aircraft. Highlights include: The Air Force Viper Demo and Heritage Flight; Air Force C-17 Demo (with an aerial refueling demonstration); Navy Growler with Legacy Flight; U.S. Air Force Wings of Blue; Matt Younkin’s “Magic by Moonlight” performance; vintage champion air racer “Mr Mulligan”; Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Demo, as well as numerous aerobatic routines and unique custom aircraft in formation and upon the water. Additionally, international partners like the Canadian CF-18s and German A400 “Grizzly” will be part of the 2024 show. Spectators will witness fly bys from the B-52, a flight of Kentucky Air National Guard C-130s, and numerous rotary aircraft, including a helicopter infiltration and extraction demo accomplished by the Kentucky Army National Guard and the 123rd Special Tactics Squadron. More details about the 2024 Thunder Air Show will be released closer to the date."

Does anyone know if the CF-18 that is attending will be the CF-18 Demo Team? Would love to get a glimpse of their painted jet for this years display team.

It doesn't appear to be the demo team. TOL is not listed on the CF-18 team schedule. Also, on the TOL page it says "CF-18s," plural.
