Some huge updates to ticketing and great news for us big aviation fans. Standard individual tickets now an option and it is one full day show. So glad thunder is reverting back to some of their old ways. https://thunderovermichigan.org/plan-yo ... /schedule/

Good. Still quite pricey, but this is a massive improvement. I've made other plans for this year, but a standard, full-day ticket will have this back on my radar in the future.JBavaition wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 1:37 am Some huge updates to ticketing and great news for us big aviation fans. I wonder if only having one "headliner" forced their hands here...
(though I suppose a Navy demo could still be addd)

I'm a member of the Jackson Radio Control club and am interested in creating a static display of 1/5 scale warbirds for the public to view. not sure who to contact if there is any interest. not looking to do any flight demo's. just static area. we display at the jackson aviation day and mason aviation day and the public enjoys seeing our models and getting questions answered.

A pair of TF-51s have been added.
Louis Horschel's TF-51D Mustang "MAD MAX"
Ariel Luedi's TF-51D Mustang "The Little Witch“
This makes up the Jack Aces team
Louis will be bringing his FG-1D Corsair as well.

So I recieved the news a few weeks ago about the change to the format and was wandering if anyone has any information on parking for those of us who purchased all day photo passes and night engine runs. It was really nice last year to be able to park right next to the photo pit and have access to your vehicle throughout the day. Will it be the same set up this year or will we have to drag all our gear from the parking lot all the way accross the field to the photo pit?
