Spread the word!! Show websites are kinda iffy when it comes to reliability I've noticed. That's why I look here before anywhere else. I've never seen F-35s in real life, so the hype is real!!

The bases FB page shows an interesting line up on their most recent Currents post. VMFA(T)-501 has Bs so that might be a typo? Anyway they have other show information there too. I hope they update their site too!!

The 2024 New Orleans Air Show will begin at 10 am and will end at approximately 4 pm. Gates will open at 8 am.

The performers' lineup is scheduled* as follows. Please note that for security reasons, we will not release specific times for the acts.

What a great show!! The wind was strong and the line was long but it was all woth it. The Blues had a maintenance issue that lead to them swapping two jets. After a short delay they continued and finished out the show, very good teamwork all round. I'll post more pictures soon!

Really good show all round. Solid lineup of performers and statics, wind was pretty crazy though. And not often you get to see seven different Blue Angels aircraft performing in the demo.

Getting into this show was totally farcical, made to wait over 90 minutes before I could board a bus from the car park because I was a non US citizen, and none of the security/base personnel would tell us why, usual cop-out excuse of they were 'just following orders'. Once we were finally allowed in me and the other non US citizens had our fingerprints and mugshots taken, and had to have our height and weight recorded, never had this at any other show I've been to. Couldn't go around the statics before it got too busy after being made to wait but it was an alright show in the end I guess.
