2024 Charleston Airshow “Heroes of Flight"

The lines of sight at charleston are bad, I couldn't see much of the runways either. I usually go to the 3 airshows in SC shaw, chs, and beaufort. Shaw has the best setup for an airshow in my opinion.

Shaw is horribly back lit all day. At Charleston the sun is behind you for the second half of the show.

The MH-65 SAR demo this year wasn’t performed in front of the spectator area. Only the very end of the demo did they move directly in front of the crowd. Disappointed they didn’t make a pass down the crowd line that was just 1800 feet long.

I looked into the Thunderbirds' maneuver package for this year, and the 4/5 Card BUP isn't listed. It should be a flat pass. This might be a new maneuver.
