With the Northeast lacking shows this year (no McGuire, no Barnes/Westover, no Andrews), Dover seems like a "Don't Miss" show this year for the people in the Northeast.

Lets see how Binghamton shapes up.

I've always enjoyed the B2 flyover at Dover. Be neat to see the F15 demo too. Agree with others, I hope the 100 ml bottle of water is a typo.

You've forgotten several airshows that have jet teams that are in the mid-Atlantic and in the Northeast, as well as in upstate New York.

Much of my extended family are coming to Dover and so far, it's just me at Binghamton. I enjoyed the 2021 show there and it warranted returning this year.

Yeah, the B-2 was a nice treat on a scorching hot day. I'm keeping my expectations low on the F-15 demo just like I did the demo at McGuire last year. I was blown away at what that pilot did. Would've loved to see it at more shows, but that wasn't the case.

As for the bottled water thing, it's got to be a typo. I'm sure they'll address it once they realize you can't buy a 100 ml bottle of water. Your typical bulk purchases of bottled water are either 8 oz, 16.9 oz, or 20 oz, which amounts to 250 ml, 500 ml, and 591 ml, respectively. I'm sure they forgot a zero in there.

Looks like air dot show (insert puke emoji) is handling premium seating at Dover.

They did the same at McGuire last year and from what I had heard, it was a fiasco. Because of the rainout they had to literally double the size of the premium seating area to accommodate Saturday ticketholders on Sunday.

Also, it appears Dover has been updating their website bit by bit. No performer update but what I did notice is the god awful set of directions they provided to get to the base, and specifically, to the North and Main Gates. As someone who lived in Delaware for two plus years and has also spent plenty of time going down to the Delaware beaches, to Virginia Beach, etc., I really hope no one follows their directions to a tee; it will not lead them to their destination!

At this stage, probably not, and for a few reasons:

1. The base (and David Schultz Airshows) would have announced the demo long ago.
2. Dover wasn't assigned any Osprey demo, let alone any USN or USMC demo.
3. If memory serves me correctly, the squadron that provided the demo in the last airshow also provided a bird for static display. There doesn't appear to be one on static display as of this morning.
4. Isn't it rare for a non-USMC show site to host the same USMC demo in consecutive airshows? I can't seem to remember any airshows that I've been to since 2000 that have had consecutive year airshows with either a Harrier or Osprey demo. Dover in 2022 had both the Harrier and an Osprey demo in that airshow so I can't see either being a late add-on (I think the Osprey demo was added closer to the airshow dates since I don't recall that being announced in December of 2021). I can't speak for the F-35B because I haven't seen that demo.
5. Has any airshow had Osprey demos in 2024? I do recall a lengthy grounding of all USAF, USN, and USMC Ospreys that was lifted earlier this year.

I'm sure whenever the airshow schedule gets released (probably the week of) there will be no Osprey demo on it.
