Thank you, I received mine at 1am, so they must be busy with spotter accreditations

Nice to see that the static opens a bit earlier than for the general public.

For those who are not accredited spotters, the airshow has now published a webpage, which contains a lot of the parking/transport/showground information from the spotter pack: https://airvg.info/2024/05/04/dolazak-n ... arkiranje/

I note this map with interest - this suggests a smaller showground area than the Notam and previous announcements suggested. If it's accurate, maybe it will be quite crowded in there.

Schedule for the flying is published!

Sadly the Mi-171 will no longer be displaying. But the good news is plenty of time for the MiG, including formation passes!

15:00-15:25 - Krila Oluje (display)
15:30-15:40 - Zlin 242 (display)
14:45-16:05 - OH-58 x2 and UH-60M (demonstration)
16:20-16:35 - MiG-21 UMD (flypasts)
16:40-16:50 - MiG-21 and Rafale (flypasts)
16:50-17:00 - Rafale (flypasts)
17:20-17:30 - Bell 206 (display)
17:55-18:00 - Krila Oluke (mini-display? Direct translation is "greeting loop" according to Google)

Nice for the Mig21 👍 But sad for the Mil-Mi17 as that was the the one I wanted to see 😅

What seems a bit hard also is that water will be forbidden inside, apparently any water, so the day is gonna be quite hard I guess 😅

But otherwise, that's gonna be a great and rare event ! One thing I'm worried about from the spotter area : if Zagreb ground clears the commercial aircrafts to taxi too early, they might have to hold at the holding point (A?) almost in front of us and so, hypothetically, messing up some pictures with exhaust heat waves or simply by being in the middle of the picture ^^

Also, from what I have seen, the Ukrainian AN32 is still at Zagreb and there is at least one Croatian CL415 as well. I still hope that they will also put those two on display together with one of their unused An32 as these 3 are very, very rare as well 🤞.

Th organisers said on Facebook that there is "zero chance" of the An-32 being visible.

Unfortunately they also said there will be no rehearsals or arrivals on Friday.

People who hold spotting permits for the airport seem to be getting the following email from the airport operators:
During the AIRVG 2024 event, it is allowed to use all positions for aircraft photography marked on the map. You can find the map on the Request for permit for photographing aircraft, which you must have with yourself during the photo shoot.

We remind you that this is an air show, not a regular flight, and we warn you that when using positions 1, 2, 3 and 4, you are in a very risky area in the event of a crash of an aircraft participating in the flight program, because part of the program will be carried out exactly above you

We also inform you that, exclusively on May 11, 2024, in the period from 12:00 to 18:00, you are not obliged to announce your arrival at the Franjo Tuđman Airport area with a precisely defined position for photography by phone number 01/4562 535 and check out after leaving the photo shoot location. You are obliged to comply with all other terms and conditions from the Request for permit for photographing aircraft.

The MiG-21 and Rafale did a single practice flypast this morning, watched from just outside our hotel.

The Ukrainian An-32 is on the military ramp, its tail is visible from the airport service road connecting the old and new terminals.

Okay thank you ! 😎 Tommorow is gonna be a good day 🤞 I just passed in front of the GA apron, nothing is installed yet so aircrafts will be towed tonight I think. No Slovenian Cougar as well so it will come tomorrow morning. I plan to go to the fence early 😉
