Three Golden Knights Injured During Night Practice Jump

Post by RyanS » Tue Feb 12, 2019 1:59 pm

Three members of the US Army Golden Knights are in the hospital after being injured during a practice jump around 4am at Homestead ARB near Miami. I would imagine they were practicing one of their sparkler jumps.

No info yet on who it was, what happened, or their current condition.

Just saw a segment on the evening news, they played the 911 call. The medic on scene reported multiple spinal injuries, with jumpers unable to feel/move their limbs. Two of three were said to be in critical condition. Certainly doesn't sound good.

Statement from the Golden Knights; two remain in critical but stable condition and the third has been released in good condition.
