Aerobatic Team Orlik or Team Orlik for short is the aerobatic display team of the Polish Air Force. The team performs displays on Polish built PZL-130 TC-II Orlik turboprop trainers hence the name of the team.
The team was formed in 1998 at the Polish Air Force Command College and performed its first public display on April 15, 1998, with its first foreign performance shortly later at the 1998 Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
The team initially consisted of four pilots, with three formation pilots and one solo. Another solo pilot was added later on and at the end of 2000, the team increased to seven aircraft. Though it has also flown some seasons with nine aircraft currently the team performs on six aircraft.

On this day 53 years ago the Let L-410 Turbolet performed its first flight.
The Let L-410 Turbolet is a twin-engine short-range transport aircraft, manufactured by the Czech aircraft manufacturer Let Kunovice (named Aircraft Industries since 2005), often used as an airliner. The aircraft is capable of landing on short and unpaved runways and operating under extreme conditions from −50 °C (−58 °F) to +50 °C (122 °F).
The L 410 is an all-metal, high-wing turboprop aircraft that is exceptionally reliable and safe to operate even in extreme climatic conditions. It is used in more than 60 countries across five continents, with the majority operating in Russia, followed by Africa, Southeast Asia, South America and Europe. Since 1969, more than 1,200 L 410 aircraft have been manufactured.
The L 410 is operated as a civilian aviation aircraft by commercial airlines, government agencies, the military and aviation clubs around the world. It is a multi-purpose aircraft, produced in many variants. The L 410 constitutes an ideal combination of high performance and economical operation for the transport of civilians and cargo on short and medium-range routes.
