Helicopter Association International (HAI) is deeply saddened to announce the loss of longtime EAA AirVenture Oshkosh rotorcraft announcer Lorenz “Lorry” Land. Lorry has been entertaining the crowds during the rotorcraft flight demonstrations on the ultralight runway for the last 15 years during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
He passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at the age of 69 years old.
