The Ford Fort Lauderdale Airshow will be taking place this weekend May 6th/7th on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The Canadian Air Forces Snowbirds are headlining this years show.

The show will also feature the Super Hornet, Osprey, and Viper Demo's!

FYI,

Thursday is military aircraft arrival day at the Ford Lauderdale Air Show! The following is the schedule of arrivals:

12:30p – CAF Snowbirds 10-11
TBA – F-16 Vipers
2:30p – CAF Snowbirds 1-9
3:00p – F-18 Super Hornets
TBA – MV-22 Ospreys

Most of the acts should be flying into Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

The flight performances for the Ford Lauderdale Air Show will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 6th centered in front of Birch State Park on State Road A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach. The sequence of flight is as follows:

There's word going around that either the Super Hornet or Viper will fly twice or the both will fly extended demo's due to the Harrier dropping out.
