Dover AFB Open House & Airshow/Thunder Over Dover 2022
Was told by a Base source that I trust, that this is truly in play. I am not in a position to nor can I confirm but if so would truly be BIG news. But if anyone can pull it off it’s David and his team. Rooting for it!

When can we expect more news on this show? I understand the contracts process and all, I just would like to know when the general time-frame of news for this show will come out?

My fiancee and I visited the museum at Dover AFB on Saturday. I highly recommend you all check it out sometime; it's a small collection but it's nice, and has a great view of the base so you can watch takeoffs and landings while you're there. We spoke to an older gentleman volunteering about one of their aircraft and we eventually got to talking about the airshow and past airshows at the base. I inquired about the rumors circulating about this year's airshow and got a response of "this is something that we all think has never happened in Delaware and there should be an announcement next week," implying something forthcoming.CoastersUnited wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 3:11 am When can we expect more news on this show? It'll probably make our temporary move to Delaware for 2022 much more interesting! (Though we are considering getting a hotel in Dover that weekend to not deal with the traffic this show will bring.)

Hopefully more of these contracts get signed too and make it an even better show

I believe there are other acts in the works. Dover isn't good at updating the website I guess
