Probably a typo. But it would be sick if both the F35 and F22 Raptor performed.

I wonder when more performers will be announced. This was posted almost a month ago.

This is a beach show. Why are they charging people to watch the show from the beach? I've been to several different beach airshow locations where the overwhelming majority of the beachfront including that near center point is free. Looking through the website there is no mention of "free viewing along x, y, z", which really pisses me off about this organization; "The Ocean City Air Show is a gated beach event and tickets are required for entry." should be challenged. I've said elsewhere I've heard many not-so-nice things from someone and this is why I wouldn't go to Ocean City for an airshow (or any other event this organization runs). A weekend in Ocean City, MD is expensive to begin with in any weekend of the year; add in an airshow and you're talking about a mortgage payment for two or three days down there. No thank you. I'll drive three and a half hours to see a more exciting and passionate airshow.

Secondly, I wouldn't get too excited. It seems like this organization always has the same performers or same cadre of performers at all their airshows and won't want to name who is flying the "L-39 Cold War Era Jet Demo" I've seen them mention in years past at this and other shows.

😕 They do say that you can visit public locations to see the airshow but it’s the last thing that they said. Meaning they want to rack in some cash as a first resort.

There like a one block area that is paid entry, I been going since the first show down there and have never had to pay to watch it. There also a few hotels down around the airshow area with descent prices if you look for them. The only thing that can suck and is the reason the show gets a lot of military support is its during Senior Week with all the high school graduates coming into town.

Is there a lot of security at the show?

The OC police, state troopers are out in everywhere in the area of the show just keeping an eye on things. But mainly they keep people moving on the boardwalk, a lot of people try to stop and watch in the middle of it which causing jams. Show center is something like 16th Street, I am normally at 19th Street never had a problem and the view is great. Fun fact the beach angles away from the ocean around 16th Street so if you are south the airshow line is a little further out then the northern side.
