My Notes:
  • Addition of purple matting. The purple matting is designed to help the grassy areas of torrential rains. They are mostly adding them to the Camp Scholler campground.
  • Expanded the South 40 Area of Wittman Regional Airport.
  • South 40 Area of Wittman Regional Airport will get a Pancake Breakfast area that is similar to the Chapters Pancake Breakfast, that are located at the Camp Scholler Chapter’s Pavilion in the Camp Scholler Campground, located directly south of the Fly Market on the west side of Paul Woods.
South 40 Area of Wittman Regional Airport will receive additional shower houses to the south and southeast.
  • New parking area in the South 40 Area of Wittman Regional Airport. It is adjacent to the airport on private land. This new parking area will accommodate approximately 300 aircraft.
  • EAA Lifetime Member Oasis & Pavilion, a new building that debuted at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 across from the Brown Arch and is operated during the event only, will see changes when visitors visit it next year. They plan on adding a viewing platform on top for approximately two hundred people.
