Some exciting news if you're going to be at WONG.... Polish aerobatic pilot Artur Kielak will be performing aerobatics in Scott Farnsworth's XA-42. Scott will only be racing in the XA-42 and then flying the S.211 for the QYON team. (Heard this from Scott)
The picture attached is one of Artur in his XA-42 in formation with a Polish Mig-29.

Well........ I spoke too soon. Since Artur lives in Poland, he hadn't received a U.S. aerobatic waiver yet. Buck Roetman evaluated him yesterday but they didn't really have time to get everything worked it. Hopefully he'll get to perform next year. Luke Carrico (the shows announcer) said he put on one heck of a routine yesterday for the evaluation. Fun show Saturday! A-10 demo started the show and flew a second demo later in the day which was cool! The racing was entertaining but I would've liked for it to have been a bit more competitive. Not a huge lineup, but was definitely fun. Weather was beautiful! Here's a few shots from the day.
