Point Mugu unfortunately does not have any F18s anymore. The last time I can recall them having an E-2 flying was their 2004 show. I have never seen one of their P-3s flying in the show since I've been attending which was 2001. In fact they haven't even had a P-3 on static since maybe the 2010 show? However at the last show they did have several aircraft fly that are based out of there including a CAANG C-130J, ATAC Kfir and Hunter and a USCG MH-65. With all of that said I really do hope they utilize their based aircraft more this year. I would absolutely love to see an E-2 demo and a few P-3 flybys or at least one on static. A triton flyby would be nice too but now I am reaching for the stars. Either way, I will be attending and I cannot wait to go back to one of the very first airshows I have ever attended.

We have a meeting today with the Airshow Committee and Base Commanders. We will bring up the E-2 and Triton request. We'll see what they say. We've done Drone Demos in the past at USAF Bases. It "could" be done at USN Bases too.
We'll see.......

It now appears that the F-16 Viper Demo Team won’t be attending Point Mugu after all as it is no longer showing in event Facebook page.

That is correct. ACC does not normally have the F-16 Viper Demo at shows that also have the USAF Thunderbirds.
Look for some additional aircraft announcements in February regarding this show. We have some interesting things in the works.
