Also, I am assuming that the statics are there for part of the show, and then more arrive at a different time, similar to how Oshkosh is? They've definitely had some incredible military statics in the last few years!

Usually they'll announce major ones like the B-1 last year, but usually theres not a set list since it changes everyday. All of the fly-in aircraft are what makes it so cool, and obviously they won't have a list for that. Hope this helps!

There was a C-17 there in 2022. It was from the NC ANG based at Charlotte.

SUN ‘n FUN is bringing you a BRAND NEW Area for Pilots flying into SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo 2023:

SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo is breathing life into the heart of the revised aircraft camping areas at The Island, where arriving pilots will be able to explore this hub designed to fulfill their needs and offer entertainment. Surrounded by Seaplanes, this property is complete with a cafe providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, a variety of food vendors, restrooms, showers, a storefront for your personal and aircraft camping needs, grocery delivery, an Uber terminal and a new tram system hub and more.

In addition to your logistical needs, The Island will serve as a social hub where you will find the Pilot Welcome Center, a stage for forums and movies, and a gathering area to reconnect with old friends and make new ones while sharing your aviation stories over food, drinks and entertainment. Our guests will enjoy camaraderie and create lasting memories at The Island!

Wanna go to The Island? An added tram providing transportation from their NEW East Auto Parking Lot and ticketing gate delivers guests to the Island & GA Parking on Taxiway Echo. The tram stop at The Island will be a central airside hub to catch trams going to the Tram Depot, Campground and Exhibits.

In addition to the west Rideshare pick up/drop off location on Medulla Rd., across from the the main parking lot, they have also added a pick/up/drop location at The Island. Ticket sales locations will be located near each location for guest to make their entry purchase for the day. Please watch for signage.
