Here's the aircraft that'll be on static display.

Anybody have a map of the layout of the show?
Wondering how the West Ramp will be set up.

Interested to know what this is by the way.
Anyone got any idea what this might be?• RAF T1

I think RAF T1 is the Royal Air Force Beechcraft Texan T MK1 (Texan T1).

I am thinking the T1 is one of the retired RAF Tucanos that is now on the warbird scene.

Well I certainly hope that it is a Tucano. It will be great to see one again, the last time was RIAT 2019 which was not long before they were retired.

A little bit of insight from someone who has been to several airshows at Langley, going as far back as the late 90s:
- The west ramp was where we all parked in past shows; I can't vouch for 2016 or 2018 since I wasn't there but in the shows from 2004 to 2012 I recall parking on a large ramp and walking over to another large ramp. It only makes sense we parked on that ramp. If you look at an aerial view of the base that ramp is considerably smaller. I've seen Langley bring a good amount of USAF stuff, big and small, for static display and that ramp was LOADED with aircraft. I guess it makes sense you can't do that anymore with using the west ramp for hosting an airshow and makes sense why you need a parking pass.
- The years I went had amazing lineups. This one too. They also had some amazing nighttime airshows.
- Not so much a tip but what do they consider to be a 3D camera? Those seem to be on the prohibited items list, and they don't explicitly state in the "what to bring" section that cameras are allowed (they're stated elsewhere that cameras are allowed but you have to dig to find that). In past years we used to sit on the side of a dirt road and be able to watch and take pictures of the F-15s take off and land.
- Also not to much a tip but the "RAF T1" could be any number of things. Again, having been to several shows at Langley and at NAS Oceana I've seen some English-based designs on display so this could either be a Bulldog or a Short Tucano. Speaking of which... isn't there a Tucano that used to fly in airshows? I seem to remember one at several airshows but not anytime since the pandemic.

Really would like to see a map of the set-up.
Want to know if F-22 Demo Team will be in front of the crowd line.

Is it going to be the end of the world if they’re not?
