Nice, short show.

F-22 and Blue Angels were great.

Very crowded on Sunday. I guess with Wilkes Barre not having a show since 2017, those who live in the area jumped at a chance to see an airshow.

F-22 Demo Team did not set-up their tent. I guess the Wilkes Barre airport is too far away.

Hope Wilkes Barre decides to put on a show next year.

I'm a little late to the party but I'd like to chime in with my thoughts.

First things first, I have to hand it off to David Schultz and his staff as well as the folks at the Pocono Raceway for putting together one amazing flying display. I've been to the first show in 2019 and was there in 2021 and both times I enjoyed how unique it is having an airshow at a racetrack that I had to come back this year. This year was outstanding. The only bad thing was that I couldn't drag anyone with me!

I completely fudged my drive and arrival to the Raceway on Saturday but was still able to get there before noon. Went through their "fairgrounds" area rather quickly, grabbed a bite to eat and a couple drinks, and got my seat right before 1 pm. All of the flying displays were spectacular... Heritage, F-22, Rick Volker, the Coasties, the Vampire, and Rob Holland especially with his low level routine and doing a touch-and-go on the back straightaway was icing on the cake. The Blue Angels killed it like they always do but one thing I noticed both days was the absence of Fat Albert. Was Fat Albert unable to perform? I understand the Sunday thing but 'Bert wasn't there on Saturday either. The crowd was VERY receptive, too!

I arrived a bit earlier on Sunday and was surprised to see people being let in at least 30 minutes earlier than advertised. I heard that happened on Saturday too but again, I got there later than I wanted to. Getting off the raceway property took quite a while on both days but this is to be expected. I don't get how people think getting 20,000+ vehicles into one location with limited entrances from two-lane roads can be done at the snap of the fingers and vice versa on the exit. I admit it took me almost two hours to get off the property but after attending airshows for decades I was well prepared for that and let the crowds thin out before I bothered to try and move my car.

Hopefully in two years we'll be seeing another airshow at the Pocono Raceway. While I didn't mind a two and a half hour flying display I wouldn't mind seeing an extra 30 minutes of airshow. Maybe have the Golden Knights or some other military or civilian parachute team open the show and have the jet team at 2:45 or 3.

The F-22 tent was there near Elevator 3 on Saturday. I had searched for it during the morning and couldn't find it, but asked around and went right after the show. Lines were long for merch but I got a few tshirts. Great turnout on Saturday of an estimated 20k, and hear Sunday was the same.

I went on Sunday and did not see the F-22 Demo tent.

Not sure where elevator 3 was.

I also asked one of the USAF guys at the recruiting tent and they said the team was not set-up on Sunday.
